Welcome Back Monument Families:
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome each of you back to Monument as we open for school on September 7, 2023. It is my hope that each of you is equally excited to become part of our Monument family.
There are new school hours are in place for all Intermediate Schools (Grades 4-6):

Full Day: 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

1 Hour Delay: 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
|

Reduced Day: 8 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
|
90 Minute Delay: 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
|
|
|
2-Hour Delay: 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

During the first week of school, teachers will hold signage with their names listed so that your child will know where to line up. All morning arrivals will take place on the large playground (corner of Calhoun and Pashley), with the exception of bus and students with special needs. They will arrive in the rear of the school (Monroe side of the school door #12). Parents are not allowed to park or pull in under the overpass at the rear of the school. Parental notices with students’ homeroom information have been enclosed in this letter, sent by email, through Class Dojo, and can be checked under your students’ Power School login profile (please see the attached letter regarding). Please have your child come to school with their homeroom notice on the first day of school if possible.
The Power School portal may be used to access important school-based information, child(ren) academic grades, attendance, homeroom assignments, and class schedules.
The following are several reminders; District Extravaganza will be held on August 25, 2023, 10-2 p.m., Back to School Night is scheduled on September 19, 2023, 5:30-7 p.m., all children should be in uniform daily (4-6 students: Uniform Colors Tops: Light Blue & Bottoms: Khaki - pants, slacks, skirts).
